What we gather from you
The Site collects information in several ways. When you order registrations and services from us you are required to provide Speednames with information regarding your name, e-mail address and your contact information ("Customer Information") together with any information required by Registry Administrators such as the contact details of a technical contact and billing contact of the registrant of a domain name ("Contact Details").
The Site may collect certain information about your visit, such as the name of the Internet service provider and the Internet Protocol (IP) address through which you access the Internet; the date and time you access our site; the pages that you access while at our site and the Internet address of the web site from which you linked directly to our site. This information is used to help improve the site, analyze trends and administer the site.
Use of Cookies
As a part of our services, Speednames uses cookies on the Site to ensure the integrity of the registration process and to personalize the Site. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

Use of Your Personal Information
Speednames may send out periodic e-mails informing you of technical service or security issues related to a product or service you requested, confirming you have requested a product or service or newsletters. In some services offered by Speednames contact with the customer is an intrinsic part of the service. You will not be able to choose to unsubscribe to these mailings, as they are considered an essential part of the service(s) you have chosen.
You should note that the Contact Details you have provided, together with any Customer Information required by the relevant Registry Administrator(s), will be - to the extent this is required by Registry Administrator - made publicly available in the Speednames and the relevant Registry (Administrators) WHOIS database in respect of the registrations that you have requested as required by the relevant Registry Administrator(s).
Parties to whom we disclose your information
Except as otherwise described in this statement, personal information you provide on the Site will not be shared outside of Speednames and its controlled subsidiaries and affiliates without your permission
Speednames disclose Contact Information to Registry Administrators together with any other information requested by such Registry Administrators in relation to the registrations requested by you.
Speednames may also disclose Customer Information in special cases where Speednames has reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our terms and conditions of use or may be causing injury or interference with our rights, property, our customers or anyone who could be harmed by such activities. We may also disclose Customer Information when we believe, in good faith, that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes necessary to maintain services and improve our products and services.
You should also note that the servers hosting our systems are located in a number of different countries including Denmark and the United States. This means that the information you provide will be transferred to and hosted on servers in these countries and by submitting the requested information you hereby expressly consent to such transfers.

Speednames is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer servers with limited accesses that are located in controlled facilities.
